Chicken Dinner
Thoughts: My thoughts are with my hubby, anxious for him to return home from being out of town. One thing I know is that he will be hungry. So "Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake" for dinner it is! Thought I would pass the recipe along to you.

I should whip up some oatmeal, walnut, raisin cookies too, they're his favorites!

Things: Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

Sauce: 1 pint cream
1 stick butter
1/2 square cream cheese
1 bag of fresh parmesan cheese
1 Tlbs. garlic salt
pepper

Add ingredients together. Slowly add parmesan cheese until it melts.
Stir and simmer sauce. You may need to add a small amount of milk to thin.

Cook chicken and chop
I roast chicken tenders with a little olive oil and salt and pepper on a cookie sheet in the oven for about 20 minutes at 375 . (nice and moist)

1 box penne pasta cooked and drained

Combine noodles, chicken and sauce.
Pour into casserole dish
Top with monterey jack cheese, diced tomatoes , green onions and muchrooms (optional)
cook at 350 just until bubbling
At the end I will turn on the broiler for just a minute to brown up the cheese on top.

  10. Hello Tracy, Love following along with your blog. Appropriately named. My background is actually fabric... it is an older print. I don't think it is made anymore. It's my favorite. The graphic designer just took the fabric, scanned it and worked on it a little to make it my blog background.
    Have a great day! Joy
