It's a Party

A celebration was in order for our 6 graduating seniors of our Young Women Laurel class

 and the others finishing up their junior year.
 We were missing a few girls so we celebrated for them too.

My monster cookie jar will have a hard time staying filled,

 with the 6 little cookie monsters always hungry for his contents.

Memorial Day

 Happy Memorial Day from my house to yours

I like creative people and all their great ideas.

I copied this idea.

Take a jar, any size or shape 

The one I used is a  large pickle jar  

Choose your color. (craft paint)

Put paint in jar and swirl it around until coated

Tip upside down to get the excess paint out

  Let Dry.

 I added a little vintage trim

 and the last of  my peonies

This jar will make a great outdoor vase for my picnic table.

  Perfect for the flowers cut from the garden and yard.

and if the grand kids break it, I'll just make another one

no worries

This summer I want to take the advice of the rock

 and do more of it.

the "S" is made from oil cloth,

and filled with a little stuffing

little red wagon

For many years, my little red wagon has been pulled around,  filled with children, our dog Tucker, toys, gardening tools and flowers.

.

  It is starting to show it's age,
 much like the person who does the pulling.

  Dings, dents and lots of rust spots.
