Hearts and Polka-dots

Thoughts:
Valentines would not be valentines without sugar cookies. I certainly eat my fair share.  I  use my small heart cookie cutter to justify eating so many.  Two bites and it's gone.
  Things:  Glace' Icing
1 lb. powdered sugar ( about 3 3/4 cup)
6 Tablespoons milk
6 Tablespoons corn syrup (karo)
1 teaspoon extract  - optional   (almond or cherry taste good)
With a whisk combine sugar and milk until smooth.  Then stir in corn syrup and extract.

Divide  your icing  into different  bowls and use food coloring for desired colors.

Fill small sandwich bag with icing, cut small hole in the end.  Outline the cookie with frosting then fill in the middle.  It does not take much!  Let stand  for 5-10 minutes.  To make polka dots prepare icing bag the same way and just add dots.  They blend right in to the other layer of icing!

This recipe makes lots of icing!  You can also half the recipe.
Make yourself a batch and eat as many as you want, you deserve it!
