just dreaming

Thoughts: Dreaming of warmer days and planting flowers is a sure way to brighten my day during the long months of winter.
 dreaming of the type and color of flower that I will plant...
just dreaming....


Things:  The name of this quilt is grandmas flower garden. Each hexagon piece of the flower cut and hand sewn together.  Then sewn onto blocks with 1/2 triangles to form the diamond in the corners.

    I recently made a small GFG quilt too - I think the squares were about 3" or 4" finished. I used English paper piecing so it was a great travel project...... CUTE!
