wash dry wear repeat
Thoughts: Even though doing the laundry is a never ending task, it is one of my favorite household chores to do.
Actually, it has been one of my greatest accomplishments in my life.
For sometime I have thought about sharing with you my story, my illness, and the miracles.
But today, let's just talk laundry.
After I had learned to walk on my own again, without assistance and regained some strength, I walked from my bedroom, oxygen tank in hand, down the hallway into the laundry room.
I carried the small load of fresh smelling clothes back to my bedroom, sat down and slowly folded each piece.
My hubby and I cried, we had worked so hard to get me to that point.
Doing the laundry everyday is a blessing.

Things:
My small antique clothes line hangs in my kitchen and holds some of my favorite kitchen towels.

  1. You are awesome to find the positive in those dark days (that seems so long ago). I am doing laundry at this very moment and I will finish it with a better attitude. Thanks for the reality check. XOXO

  3. I need a better perspective on laundry. After having Jace and I was so sick. He pooped in the bed (ARGH!)- of course the sheets were nice and fresh or it wouldn't have happened. I struggle with the laundry every week so I appreciated this blog. THANKS!!!
