Thoughts and Things: This quilt pattern is called"Postage Stamp".
It is a great way to use up your scraps.
This quilt is made with 2" x 2" squares.
We had a great time in San Fransisco. We did plenty of shopping and sightseeing. We ate our way through the city especially the sourdough bread, YUM! We met some new friends too, at pier 39.
The weather was nice the first day we were there, and the rest of the days, well... let me quote Mark Twain.
"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Fransisco."
I was born and raised about 3 hrs south of San Francisco. I know what you mean about the weather. The best months with no fog are usually Feb. and March. Glad you had fun. Mimi
