THOUGHTS: Easter dinner thoughts and preparation are beginning to bounce around in my head. As tradition, there are just certain things you to have for it to be a real Easter Feast!

Spiral cut ham, with lots of glaze and big enough for leftovers
Scalloped potatoes made with heavy cream and lots of cheese
Cooked carrots with butter and brown sugar
Hot delicious homemade rolls
(if you are lucky enough to have someone in your family who knows how to make them)
Large bowl of fresh strawberries
Deviled eggs (that nobody eats)
Lime Jello Salad
Bunny shaped white cake with white frosting, and coconut on top.

Easter Jello

THINGS: Dinner would not be complete without it! Especially if you live in Utah!

Lime Jello Salad

l large can of pears

1 cup pear syrup

1/2 cup water

1 large box lime jello

8 oz. cream cheese - softened

2 Tablespoons milk

1/2 cup whipping cream

Mash pears. Heat syrup and water, almost to boil. Pour jello into hot syrup and water , stir until dissolved. Beat cream cheese and milk until smooth. Beat into hot jello. Stir in pears and whipping cream. Pour into 9x13 dish. Chill until firm.

You can also spread whipping cream on entire top, or cut jello into squares and top with dollop of whipping cream. Whipping cream for topping is not included in recipe.

  1. I might just have to make this for Easter. Always looking for a new green jello recipe;). Our Easter dessert is always strawberry shortcake. Mimi
